Droid Bionic "Tips And Tricks" Offers Feature Run-Down
Motorola published what looked very much like a list of Droid Bionic specs on its developer's site earlier this month. Some of the information revealed offered new insight into the Bionic's revised hardware; we had been wondering, for instance, whether the smartphone would end up with a 4.5 or a 4.3-inch display. A new leak has now revealed the Tips and Tricks manual for the Bionic, giving us additional confirmation for some of its specs, as well as highlighting several of the smartphone's features.
Once again, there's mention of the Bionic having a 4.3-inch qHD screen, so consider that confirmed if you were still harboring any doubt. With an 8-megapixel camera, gigabyte of RAM, and dual-core processor, it's little surprise the Bionic is suited for 1080p video recording; these documents offer some tips on setting it up to use, as well as outputting your video for viewing over HDMI on a full-sized TV. Motorola discusses the extra abilities imparted to the Bionic when using Webtop accessories, just as they did when debuting alongside the Motorola Atrix.
We also learn of a few little hardware features that have so far flown under the radar, like an arrangement of three microphones for optimal pickup and noise rejection, and some bundled software like ZumoCast for remotely accessing files stored on your home PC.
At this point, we're really just waiting for Verizon to announce when the Bionic will finally go up for sale.
