The BlackBerry Colt could be launched soon
It seems that Research In Motion is keeping what they promised a few months ago about the change of direction in terms of smartphones to their clients and to market.
Given the financial results not entirely satisfactory, the Canadian company has decided to put his foot on the accelerator and show the muscles of the competition.
After having made available the latest models 9900/9930 , 9850/9860 and 9810 , it now seems that the new device BlackBerryColt , the first based on QNX , will see the light before 2012, or in ‘ last quarter of 2011 .
Models with BlackBerry OS 7 , in fact, although terminals interesting and remarkable performances in terms of both hardware and software do not provide the quantum leap that would allow RIM to complete the phase of innovation began last May.
The Colt would already be in the hands of a few meters in the prototype version, and should be equipped with a processor, single core to 1.2 GHz with a touch screen 4.3 ” .
Additional voices speak of a new version of the application software BES dedicated to companies, as the Colt would not be compatible with previous versions.
