The categories are the "S" (Super Smart / Flagship ), Used for the smartphone top of the range, the "R" (Royal / Refined / Premium) that includes models that combine power, performance and productivity, the series "W" ( Wonder / High Tier) that indicates the products that offer great value style and performance, the series "M" (Magical / Mid-Tier) used for high-performance business models and finally the series "Y" (Young / Entry level) that distinguishes the models for emerging markets or for a young audience more attentive to prices.
There are also other indications for additional smartphones Galaxy. "Pros" that indicates the presence of a QWERTY keyboard, the "Plus" indicates that an "upgrade" of an existing model and "LTE" that accompanies the device compatible with the Standard LTE (Long-Term Evolution) , the 4G .
Samsung also announced four new smartphones Android : the W GALAXY , GALAXY Pro M , Y, GALAXY and GALAXY Y Pro . All will be shown a preview at ' IFA Berlin
